Students from Penn State Berks and Penn State Mont Alto traveled to Eagle Butte, South Dakota to spend their spring break volunteering with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of the Lakota Nation as part of the University’s Alternative Spring Break trips.
The Penn State Berks Sustainability Council will host an Earth Day celebration on Monday, April 22, from 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. outside the Perkins Student Center. The celebration will include community organizations, educational presentations and stations, giveaways, prizes and light refreshments. This event is free and open to the community.
Penn State Berks will present its spring mainstage theatre production of select one-act plays from "All in the Timing" by David Ives and “Love Kills” at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, through Saturday, April 13, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for the general public and $5 for the campus community with a Penn State ID.
The Penn State Berks global studies program will host a global forum titled “Asking the World: Public Opinion Surveying in Developing Countries” from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Room 121 of the Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building. The event is free and open to the public.

The Penn State Berks Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development Center hosted its annual Student Enterprise Award ceremony on March 25.
The Penn State Berks AIMS (Artificial Intelligence, Modeling, and Simulation) Lab will celebrate AI Week with a slate of events from April 1-5. The Creative Minds AI Challenge for high school students will be held on May 8.
The Student and Community Engagement Symposium will provide an opportunity for faculty, staff, administrators and community members to connect, share experiences, and explore innovative approaches to student and community engagement and engaged scholarship. It will be held from 8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Rooms 1 and 2 at Penn State Berks.
Penn State Berks will host campus tours for high school juniors starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the Perkins Student Center, located just off Broadcasting Road in Wyomissing.
Penn State Berks will host a slate of events from March 15-22 in honor of Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC, a University-wide event that takes place every spring and brings leading minds in entrepreneurship and innovation to Penn State campuses across the commonwealth. The week features entrepreneurial workshops, networking events, student pitch competitions, and presentations from startup founders and corporate innovators, including many Penn State alumni.
